STUDY ON THE AGING PROCESS OF COMPOSITE INSULATION MATERIAL USED IN HIGH_VOLTAGE EQUIPMENT, USING ACCELERATED AGING EXPERIMENT MODEL

ABSTRACT
The paper presents the researchresults on the aging process of composite insulation material – glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin (epoxy/glass) by accelerated aging method of experiment in laboratory. The process of water diffusion into composite insulation material – glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin (epoxy/glass) is investigated and analyzed from the view point on electric technical material. The research is conducted using spectroscopy dielectric method for insulation non- breakdown diagnosis of insulation system. By this method the characteristics of the aging process by high temperature and humidity and its consequences on electric insulation are determined.
